About us

The Equal Opportunities Working Party was established in accordance with the 2002 Universities Act by the Senate and comprises 25 members and 50 substitute members. All groups of university members represented in the Senate of the University of Vienna are also represented in the Equal Opportunities Working Party.

If you are interested in participating in the Equal Opportunities Working Party, please contact the (substitute) member of the Equal Opportunities Working Party responsible for your organisational unit or the Chair.

The Equal Opportunities Working Party provides support and advice and assists affected persons in solving their issues.

If affected persons contact the Equal Opportunities Working Party with an issue, their case will be treated strictly confidential and will only be forwarded to the responsible bodies of the University of Vienna if the affected persons have given their consent.
